Fujitsu Implemented Sustainability Software Solution to Transform its Global Environmental Reporting

Fujitsu, a global IT services and consulting company, set a 2008 goal to reduce CO2e emissions by 30 million tonnes by 2020 and needed a granular tool to measure, monitor and report non‑financial environmental data. To meet this challenge Fujitsu selected Cority’s enterprise sustainability reporting software (formerly Greenstone) for its SaaS capabilities and experience in sustainability performance management.

Cority implemented its sustainability solution—including environment and CSR modules—initially across 60 UK sites and then expanded to four Fujitsu divisions in 18 countries, covering 400 sites. The Cority platform centralized CO2e tracking to Fujitsu’s Japan HQ, streamlined global data collection and reporting (energy, travel, waste and water), supported Fujitsu’s Green IT partnership with clients, and contributed to industry recognition such as the Business in the Community Responsible Business of the Year Award.
