Eversource Energy Improves Spill Response Mobility & Flexibility with Cority

Eversource Energy, the largest energy provider in New England serving roughly 4 million customers across Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire, needed to streamline spill reporting and comply with differing state regulations. To improve mobility, flexibility, and real‑time reporting for dispatchers and environmental coordinators in the field, Eversource Energy turned to Cority and its cloud‑based SaaS spill solution.

Cority implemented a mobile, offline‑capable spill reporting system with territory‑specific forms and real‑time synchronization so users can log and update incidents from phones, tablets, or computers. The Cority solution standardized reporting across three states, handled high volumes during storms, and reduced processing time by about three to five minutes per spill — roughly 66 hours saved in 2019 — improving response speed and regulatory tracking.
