AB Ports Transforms Non-Financial Reporting with a Sustainability Software Solution

Associated British Ports (ABP), the UK’s leading ports group operating 21 ports and handling roughly 89 million tonnes of cargo, faced the absence of a robust platform to centrally collect, manage and accurately report environmental data. To improve data availability, accuracy and aggregation for stakeholder and public reporting, ABP partnered with Cority to deploy its sustainability reporting / sustainability performance management software (the solution acquired from Greenstone).

Cority migrated ABP’s historic environmental data and implemented its enterprise-wide sustainability reporting software — including the Initiatives Savings Module and CSR module — across all 21 ports to collect, calculate, analyze and report consumption, emissions and financial savings. Cority’s solution centralized data tracking, increased data granularity and visibility, advanced ABP’s Scope 2 market-based emissions profiling, and expanded non-financial reporting capabilities so ABP can report with greater accuracy and confidence.
