How CoreWeave Helped Procedural Space Render 18 Million 4K Images in Just One Week

Procedural Space, a collection of 10,000 procedurally generated planet NFTs, needed to turn each planet into a one-minute 4K video, requiring 18 million high-resolution frames. Their compute-heavy Blender Cycles rendering workflow was far beyond what local machines could handle, with the team estimating it would take 15 to 17 years to finish on their own. CoreWeave provided the scalable cloud compute needed to make the project feasible.

CoreWeave delivered on-demand GPU infrastructure with fast spin-up, autoscaling, and support for rendering, storage, compression, and encoding. As a result, Procedural Space rendered 18 million 4K images and produced 100GB of high-resolution assets in just one week, at about one-sixth the cost of the alternatives they evaluated.
