TNG worldwide proves that B2B eCommerce can be beautiful and integrated

TNG worldwide, a global leader in professional salon, spa and beauty supplies, faced fragmented eCommerce systems in 2012—multiple sites disconnected from SAP with no live inventory or pricing, PCI compliance gaps, and three full-time employees manually entering web orders. After an unsuccessful DIY effort, TNG worldwide selected Magento for site design and Corevist as the integration partner to provide a cloud-based, SAP-integrated eCommerce solution.

Corevist implemented a two-way, real-time integration between TNG worldwide’s Magento site and SAP (ECC 6.0), building custom features such as self-registration that creates sold-to accounts in SAP, address validation, licensing checks, delivery blocks, tax/resale flags, and pre-ordering logic. The Corevist solution eliminated the need for the three full-time data-entry roles, delivered faster order processing and live pricing/inventory, and gave TNG worldwide a responsive, B2C-like site that improved customer experience and operational efficiency.
