Lord Corporation, a diversified technology and manufacturing company, needed to re‑platform a 10‑year‑old on‑premise SAP Internet Sales Application that was being sunset and that threatened their ability to upgrade ECC 6.0. They wanted a cloud‑based solution that would keep business rules and data in SAP rather than recreating them on the website. Lord Corporation selected Corevist and its cloud‑based, SAP‑integrated B2B eCommerce solution to meet those requirements.
Corevist implemented an agile, three‑month rollout that connected to Lord’s real SAP data early, captured and prioritized 275 change requests through focused workshops, and recommended keeping pricing logic in SAP (replacing quotation workarounds with standard SAP pricing conditions). A staged QA/rollout with eight customers for four weeks proved effective; a few weeks after full launch the site was processing over $1.2M per week, enabled CSV bulk uploads that drove new large orders, improved mobile access and user administration, and delivered measurable productivity gains for Lord Corporation. Corevist’s approach eliminated manual order holds and simplified distributor pricing selection while preserving Lord’s SAP governance.
