Global Paint Manufacturing Company, a global paint maker with a division that sells directly to auto body shops, faced high employee turnover and needed to protect sensitive pricing while still letting shop-floor workers assemble orders and managers place them — and the shop owner retain full price visibility. To solve that, they engaged Corevist and used the Corevist e-commerce app (Administration Module) to align permissions with real-world roles without costly customization.
Corevist implemented a three-tier user hierarchy in the Corevist app: a builder who can create and submit orders (no pricing or placement), an approver/placer who can approve/place orders (no pricing), and an owner who can see full pricing and complete orders. The workflow includes email notifications and keeps orders out of SAP until final approval, reducing administrative overhead because accounts are role-based and passed to new hires. As a result, Corevist helped the customer protect pricing despite high turnover, preserve e-commerce sales, simplify SAP data management, and avoid extra customization or ongoing user maintenance.
