AccuWeather, the world’s largest provider of weather forecasts and warnings, needed a better way to manage a single Office 365 tenant shared across six business lines and more than 20 departments. Using Microsoft’s free Admin Center, the team struggled with license visibility, inactive account tracking, and limited tools for managing separate business-unit budgets and administration. With CoreView, AccuWeather partitioned its tenant into virtual-tenants for each business unit, delegated admin rights through RBAC, and set up license pools for more accurate ownership and chargeback accounting.
