Tranzit Group Ltd., one of New Zealand’s largest family‑owned coach companies with more than 1,000 staff and vehicles, faced growing compliance and operational challenges — time‑consuming manual RUC (road user charges) management across a dispersed fleet, the need to maintain five‑star ORS safety ratings by reducing speed infringements, and improve fuel and fleet efficiency. To tackle these issues they turned to Coretex and its Coretex 360 telematics solution.

Coretex deployed Coretex 360 starting with a 25‑vehicle pilot and then rolled it out fleetwide, adding a custom panic‑button for special‑needs services and delivering web/app access to GPS, speed, engine and RUC data.
