CarrierX, a Long Beach–based CPaaS and API provider that owns its network, saw demand for its UCaaS offerings surge almost overnight during the pandemic. To support this exponential growth it needed to rapidly expand its footprint—particularly in CoreSite’s downtown Los Angeles (LA1) data center—for additional space, power and cooling plus diverse carrier connectivity to ensure reliability and low cost.

CoreSite’s 173,000+ sq. ft. LA1 facility delivered the required space, power, cooling and access to hundreds of service providers and subsea gateways, while offering a responsive pricing solution (a three‑year agreement with grandfathered rates).
