SPM Retail brought Sweden’s children’s wear brand Polarn O. Pyret to the U.S. and needed a scalable, cloud-based IT platform to sell through retail stores, an eCommerce site and Amazon. Legacy POS options couldn’t integrate with their website and would have required heavy IT investment, so SPM sought a single system with real-time inventory, centralized product and customer data, and a fast, customer-focused checkout.
SPM deployed CORESense’s multichannel retail management suite (back office, POS, CORESite eCommerce and Amazon management), enabling growth from a single web store to multiple brick-and-mortar locations and a thriving Amazon channel. The integrated solution delivered seamless omnichannel features (BOPIS, cross-channel returns and coupons), faster in-store service, real-time inventory visibility to reduce stock-outs/overstock, stronger CRM for targeted marketing, and lower IT overhead.
