A CorelDRAW Case Study
Umpqua National Forest partnered with the Roseburg District BLM to promote recreational and interpretive opportunities—most notably the 70-mile North Umpqua Trail—and needed an easy-to-use graphics solution to produce professional brochures and collateral. To meet that challenge they relied on CorelDRAW and the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite for layout, illustration and image editing.
Using CorelDRAW (with Corel PHOTO‑PAINT) graphic artist Mary Breannan produced a 20‑page double‑fold brochure featuring retouched photography, custom illustrations and PDF output, enabling quick revisions, file sharing and streamlined production. CorelDRAW delivered time- and cost-savings through familiar tools and import/export support; the materials have seen nationwide use, strong public “Wow” feedback, occasional local awards and direct thank‑you calls from visitors.
