Gigantic mazes conceived with the design granularity and color precision of CorelDRAW

Adrian Fisher Mazes is a global maze design company (about 20 staff) that creates everything from hedge and corn mazes to interlocking brick and finger mazes for clients worldwide. Their challenge was to design and share highly detailed, full‑color maze configurations that accurately convey navigational complexity and color palettes to remote clients and on‑site builders — notably for large projects such as the Jasmine Tea Maze for the 2008 Olympic celebrations.

Adrian Fisher Mazes solved this by using CorelDRAW to produce precise, color‑accurate renderings, multiple pathway variations (bronze/silver/gold), and to-scale sectional printouts used during installation. CorelDRAW enabled in‑house production (eliminating costly manufacturer redrawings), faster iteration (often producing half a dozen variations), and exact color matching across 43 clay colors, delivering measurable benefits: cost savings, increased productivity, enhanced design quality, and the ability to design about 90 mazes a year (400 erected across 27 countries). CorelDRAW was central to achieving these results.
