Creating beautiful barn quilts with CorelDRAW Graphics Suite

Diaz Sign Art worked with A Classic Metal Company, a small family-owned business in Illinois, to help launch a new metal barn quilt product line. The company needed a logo and brand identity that could be translated into metal-cut signage, while still capturing the nostalgic, traditional feel of barn quilts and local heritage. CorelDRAW Graphics Suite was the design tool used to develop the concept.

Using CorelDRAW, Joe Diaz created three related logos: one for A Classic Metal Company, one for the “A Quilter Lives Here” product line, and one that combined both names. The flexible design tools helped Diaz Sign Art deliver artwork that worked for metal cutting and supported a successful brand launch; the metal barn quilts took off almost overnight, and the client later returned for more marketing and product-line design work.
