Logique Communications, a Toronto-based marketing and communications firm led by founder Cameron Murphy, needed fast, precise tools to create corporate identities and client collateral—most recently updating the brand, logo, business cards and marketing materials for Alpha Health and Wellness. To meet those demands Logique used the CorelDRAW graphics application for logo and product design, drawing on its ease of use and precision for both in-house work and freelance collaborations.
Using CorelDRAW, Logique designed and refined multiple logo options (converting type to curves, adjusting Bezier handles, flipping and aligning elements) and exported production-ready files to printers and a manufacturing plant in India. CorelDRAW’s accuracy and flexible export (PDF, EPS, embedded ICC profiles) delivered perfect first samples, kept revisions to four or five iterations, saved “countless hours,” and avoided font and color problems—streamlining design-to-production and improving turnaround for Logique Communications.
