A CorelDRAW Case Study

Corel DESIGNER helps the Documentation Team at Texas Instruments streamline its workflow

Texas Instruments, led by Products Publication Manager Terry Hayes, needed a graphics solution that would integrate with its XML-based content management workflow and handle a mix of source formats (AutoCAD, Visio, WMF) for print and web publishing. The Technical Information Solutions team selected Corel DESIGNER as part of the CorelDRAW product family (CorelDRAW Technical Suite) to edit source art, convert to EPS and GIF, and support SVG as their long-term standard.

CorelDRAW supplied Corel DESIGNER along with webinars, on‑site training and professional services, even delivering automation macros to speed adoption. The solution enabled easy import/export across required formats (including SVG), streamlined TI’s publishing processes and better leveraged their CMS, and produced a measurable reduction in overall software licensing costs.
