Adventist Education - Customer Case Study

Adventist Education, the North American Division K–12 system serving about 50,000 students and 6,000 staff across 1,100 schools, faced a major cost and logistics challenge: deploying a standard graphics suite simultaneously to every school, many of which had slow dial-up Internet. To solve this, they partnered with CorelDRAW, using a Corel K‑12 Site License that included education versions of CorelDRAW X3, Painter IX, Paint Shop Pro X, Photo Album 6 and WordPerfect X3.

CorelDRAW delivered an organization‑wide unlimited license, centralized server downloads and permission to produce unlimited hard copies for schools with limited connectivity, plus two years of free updates and teacher/student home access. The rollout produced measurable uptake—400 downloads in the first month and several hundred mailed copies—enabled uniform deployment, delivered significant cost savings and easier budgeting, and increased student engagement through class use, contests and beta curriculum development.
