A complete makeover withCorelDRAW 12 Graphics Suite helps Toronto pub grow its business

The Yellow Griffin Pub, a busy restaurant on Bloor Street West in Toronto, needed a cohesive rebrand — new storefront, menus and marketing — but didn’t want to hire an outside design firm. Owner Oliver Lutkiewicz used CorelDRAW 12 Graphics Suite to create an updated logo, a 35‑item burger menu, flyers and signage himself, aiming for a unified, more upscale look across all materials.

Using CorelDRAW, Oliver produced vector .CDR files for the new awning, standardized fonts and colors with the Paragraph Style Editor, and quickly reused assets across prints and signs (scaling from 2x2 coasters to a 20‑ft banner). The launch generated neighborhood buzz within two weeks, drew competitors’ attention (chefs visited four days in a row), and delivered professional results without paying for external design — all thanks to CorelDRAW.
