How Air Canada’s Wellness Program Took Flight

Air Canada, Canada’s largest airline, needed a stronger employee wellness resource during the COVID-19 pandemic, which had led to layoffs, anxiety, and lower morale across the workforce. To address these challenges, Air Canada partnered with CoreHealth Technologies and looked for a flexible health technology platform that could better support employees with practical guidance and company-wide well-being resources.

CoreHealth Technologies helped launch Air Canada’s revamped “Unlock the Best in You” (UBY) program on its comprehensive well-being platform, centralizing work, mental, physical, and financial wellness content in one mobile-friendly portal. The result was a major boost in engagement: unique log-ins were on pace to reach over half of Air Canada’s 30,000 employees in a year, compared with just 3,000 the year before, and more than 700 employees attended a UBY Wellness Day open house.
