Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office trains 313 personnel on body cams with Coreforce

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office faced a state mandate requiring local law enforcement to wear body cameras, a need amplified by a push for greater transparency. The department selected Coreforce and its cellphone-based BodyWorn camera technology to meet this challenge.

Coreforce implemented a comprehensive solution that included 313 cellphones used as body cameras and over 144 in-car video systems. The technology automatically begins recording during critical incidents and securely uploads footage to the cloud. Coreforce provided the system along with five years of training, resulting in increased transparency and a modernized toolset for deputies.
