TMS International, a global steel services company with more than 4,000 employees across 80 locations in 19 countries, needed to refresh its Safety Token employee recognition program. The existing program had become less effective because the gift selection was limited, redemption value was poor for employees, and the old technology could not keep up with TMS’s growing needs. CoreCentive was brought in to help reinvigorate the safety incentives program.
CoreCentive transformed the program by providing tens of thousands of gift options at a fair price and adding new tools for leadership visibility and engagement, including summary reporting by location and timeframe, pooled points by location, an attendance program, and monthly manager communications. The rollout was completed in just 2 weeks and helped create a reinvigorated global safety incentive program spanning 19 locations, with 50,000 gift options available and stronger employee participation.
