SEMI used Core-apps for the SEMICON West 2017 conference app, aiming to improve event engagement and drive more app adoption among attendees and exhibitors. The event drew 600 exhibitors, 20,000 attendees, and represented 120 countries.

Core-apps provided the event app with Follow Me, Gamification, ARS, and Sponsorship features, including a new Audience Response System. SEMI said it saw a 26% increase in downloads from the previous year, helped by added value and app-only access to certain content.
