Lawson Products, a provider of more than 200,000 MRO parts and on-site services, needed to expand its market presence and simplify indirect spend procurement for its customers while supporting aggressive growth. To do this it partnered with Corcentric, using Corcentric’s e-procurement and procurement/finance solutions to align supply and demand, offer pre-negotiated pricing, and provide customers a consolidated purchasing channel and dedicated Lawson representative.

Corcentric implemented a consolidated e-procurement solution with pre-negotiated pricing, managed credit risk, and a single point of contact for Lawson customers, plus special sourcing for hard-to-find items. The partnership delivered double-digit growth for Lawson and yielded measurable savings for members — in the US and Canada in 2018 members realized 48% savings, totaling $1,783,374 — while enabling customers to browse, buy, and bill the majority of their indirect spend through Corcentric.
