Automating Electronic Invoicing Across a Wide Range of Output Formats

Peak Cashflow Limited, a UK specialist in debtor-based funding for SMEs, faced rapidly increasing volumes of client statements in many different layouts and a rising customer demand for emailed statements. Producing and posting statements was labor-intensive—requiring multiple staff a full day each month—and existing manual processes (including scanning for email) were costly and slow. To automate multi-brand statement production and electronic distribution, Peak Cashflow engaged Corcentric to handle electronic invoicing and document management, integrating output from their third-party HPD system.

Corcentric implemented a solution that split HPD output into customer-specific statement formats, automated batch production and electronic delivery, and supported migration to digital statements with minimal internal IT involvement; the rollout completed in about two months. As a result, monthly batches now generate in 45 minutes on a single laptop, staff save at least one day per month previously spent on statement processing, posted documents fell by 21% per month, and Peak Cashflow achieved roughly a 10% cost saving within the first five months (reported after 16 weeks), with further savings expected as more recipients go digital.
