How Apptegy Found a CRM Its Team Loves to Use

Apptegy is an Arkansas-based edtech company that builds school-branded apps, websites, social media and alert systems to help districts modernize their communications. As the company grew to about 80 people and added more marketing and sales tools, leadership moved off their original CRM (Copper) to a larger system for presumed better integrations — only to find the new CRM unintuitive, manual, and poorly supported, which hampered reps and created workflow headaches.

Apptegy ultimately returned to Copper and worked with Copper’s customer success team to implement the integrations they needed. The switch restored automatic data and email syncing, simplified onboarding with customizable fields, eliminated manual workarounds, and improved rep productivity and satisfaction — giving the sales ops team a reliable, consolidated platform to manage prospects and customers.
