Diag Partners organizes recruitment and simplifies the sales process

Diag Partners is a Michigan-based boutique recruiting firm founded by brothers Joe and Carl Saad that prides itself on people-first culture and selective, tech-agnostic sourcing. Faced with information gaps, busywork and reliance on spreadsheets—and needing a CRM that integrated with Google Workspace, minimized manual data entry, and could handle dozens of concurrent openings—they searched for a system to centralize communication and preserve data integrity across teams.

They implemented Copper, building customized pipelines (a REQ wall, HR and Upcoming Requirements), custom fields and intake forms, plus Zapier automations and Gmail integration to reduce manual entry. The result: a centralized, searchable system with ~50,000 people records, the ability to track 85–105 openings at once, better reporting and forecasting, and a streamlined process that replaced spreadsheets and kept distributed teams aligned.
