Amazon cuts PLC-driven downtime by 80% with Copia

Amazon, a global e-commerce and logistics leader, faced challenges in managing backups for its extensive Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) code across its operations. To address this and prevent PLC-driven downtime, the company initiated a Proof of Concept with vendor Copia to utilize its industrial automation management solutions.

Following a successful PoC, Amazon expanded its deployment of Copia to manage over 1,000 PLCs across more than 35 sites. The solution implemented by Copia is expected to help Amazon cut PLC-driven downtime by 80% and improve high-severity response times by 25%.
