A Convio Case Study
The Greenway Foundation, a Denver nonprofit founded in 1974 to enhance and preserve the South Platte River, struggled with donor and supporter communications because its four-person staff kept contact data in 47 separate spreadsheets. This fragmentation created duplicate records and made staff hesitant to send emails or appeals for fear of misdirecting messages to the wrong audiences.
The Foundation implemented Convio Common Ground CRM (deployed by KELL Partners) as a cloud-based central database, consolidating all contacts and eliminating duplicates. As a result, any staff member can access up-to-date records online, the group can send customized, targeted communications, track interests and giving history, and better cultivate donors and solicitations.
