Daily Bread Food Bank, Canada’s largest food bank serving more than 170 member agencies and about 73,000 monthly client visits, faced a stretched communications team (two communications staff, seven fundraising/tax staff) and fragmented outreach: separate donor and newsletter lists, no annual communications calendar, and limited engagement between three annual fundraising drives. They needed a more efficient way to manage donor communications and grow online fundraising.

Daily Bread implemented Convio TeamRaiser and joined the 12-month Convio Go! program to build a year-long communications plan, launch a monthly email newsletter, donor-recognition ecards, and a targeted end-of-year campaign. The effort raised nearly $60,000 from that campaign, generated positive donor responses and leads from email and ecard outreach, and improved internal coordination and use of fundraising best practices.
