Indochino - Customer Case Study

Indochino, a Vancouver-based e-commerce retailer of custom men's apparel, faced a common but growing problem: users researching and interacting across multiple devices and browsers, making it difficult to accurately attribute conversions and understand cross-device behavior. The company needed a way to tie together fragmented sessions to improve marketing measurement and inform campaign decisions.

In 2012 Indochino implemented Convertro’s Advanced User Matching to combine sessions across devices and browsers. The solution tied together sessions for 5% of all converting visitors (up to 12.31% for some sources), and showed 76% of matched users switched between laptop/desktop and mobile or tablet. The improved accuracy delivered actionable reports that guided cross-device campaign allocation (notably PPC and display) and helped optimize mobile and tablet-targeted content.
