How SIMEDIO Converts 2.96% of Visitors With Timed Welcome Discounts

Simedio, an online store for baby and parent clothing, wanted to improve onsite conversions while keeping the shopping experience user-friendly. The company switched to Convertful in November 2018 after previously using another lead generation tool.

Using Convertful popups and widgets, Simedio showed a timed welcome discount after 60 to 90 seconds on site, added cart-abandonment recovery popups, and used agreement checkboxes for GDPR compliance. The timed offer converted 2.96% of visitors into leads, and the best cart-abandonment variation recovered 3.18% of abandoning visitors, with Alicja Michalak noting that Convertful converted about four times better than the previous tool.
