Using Hotjar polls and Convert Experiences A/B tests, Conversion Fanatics tested two fixes: a “help me choose” lightbox and a short “Smells like” summary, run separately on desktop and mobile. Both challengers beat the control—lightbox drove an 11% lift in orders and 24% higher revenue per visitor on desktop, while the “Smells like” summary produced a 53% lift in orders and 37% higher revenue per visitor on mobile—showing a lean testing stack and clearer scent guidance delivered substantial gains.
