They hypothesized that a more responsive, persistent cart would simplify the funnel and lift e-commerce conversion rates.
Using Convert Experiences, Ontrack implemented a slide-out cart that stayed with users across the site and ran an A/B test against the original cart page. The variant won: ecommerce conversion rate rose ~10%, revenue per visitor increased 12%, average products per visitor grew 14.45%, and average order value improved 2.18%, demonstrating a simpler, faster buying experience drove measurable revenue gains.
