Talend, a next-generation leader in cloud and big-data integration software, needed to tighten its marketing technology stack and find a cost-effective way to engage lower-quality or dormant leads without disrupting existing processes. Marketing Operations Manager Adam Benitez was tasked with evaluating new tools that would integrate with Marketo and Salesforce and actually improve lead conversion rather than duplicate efforts.
Talend deployed Conversica’s AI Assistant, “Cara Daly,” to autonomously re-engage and qualify leads alongside their sales pods and existing automation. After a successful pilot, Conversica handled 21,000 leads (with engagement rising to 31%), surfaced 890 hot leads, created about $10M in pipeline and nearly $1M in bookings, and became a permanent, complementary member of Talend’s sales stack.
