A Convergence Training Case Study

Preview of the Evergreen Transport Case Study

National truckload Carrier Saves 80% on Annual training by reducing unnecessary offsite training costs

Evergreen Transport, a truckload carrier based in Evergreen, Alabama with about 35 employees and 25–35 drivers, needed mandatory annual MSHA miner training for drivers but was paying a third‑party trainer for off‑site sessions that cost $500 per new miner and $200 per refresher and created long, nonproductive days. To solve this, Evergreen turned to Convergence Training and its Convergence LMS and Convergence Surface Miner Training.

Convergence Training delivered a web‑based LMS bundled with MSHA courses (a $999 one‑time setup plus $49 per user per year), letting drivers complete training in 1–2 hours onsite. This cut Evergreen’s annual training cost from $10,600 to $1,914 — a savings of $8,686 (roughly 80%) — while improving employee utilization and reducing off‑site training time.
