Case Study: New-Indy Containerboard achieves standardized operator training and reliable compliance reporting with Convergence Training

A Convergence Training Case Study

Preview of the New-Indy Containerboard Case Study

How Convergence helped this manufacturer rebuild their training program from the ground up

New-Indy Containerboard, a North American recycled containerboard manufacturer with about 150 employees, faced major skill gaps after years of neglected training under previous owners. Training was informal and inconsistent—operators trained other operators—resulting in uneven competencies and incomplete knowledge. To solve this, New-Indy adopted the Convergence LMS from Convergence Training.

Convergence Training implemented the Convergence LMS with off-the-shelf paper-specific courses and the ability to import diverse content, allowing New-Indy to create standardized, role-based curricula and a unified safety program with consistent tests and timelines. The LMS’s reporting tools give managers instant visibility into training completion, in‑progress status and certifications, eliminating prior reporting issues and ensuring employees are trained to the same standards.
