Leading Mortgage Lender Migrates to Google Cloud Platform

A leading mortgage lender, driven by a CIO directive to exit its data center and move its entire workload to the cloud, needed assistance. They engaged Converge Technology Solutions to conduct a proof of concept (POC) for running IBM Power workloads on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), requiring help to plan, migrate, and test various LPARs.

Converge Technology Solutions led the design and implementation of a multi-cloud environment for the POC, which involved planning the migration of 82 AIX LPARs. The work established a secure cloud foundation on GCP with connectivity to other clouds and on-premises data centers. As a result, the client successfully moved workloads out of the data center and continues to run its POC and other small instances on GCP.
