The customer, a global ride-hailing company, faced the challenge of optimizing its extensive Palo Alto Networks estate. Converge Technology Solutions, in partnership with Palo Alto Networks, implemented a solution that provided support for the existing firewall estate while establishing an ELA/ESA for the new backbone. By using the Google Cloud Platform Marketplace as the procurement vehicle, the solution gave the client's finance and procurement teams predictable OPEX pricing. This approach provided substantial benefit to the proposal, with GCP adding additional PAN support services to the deal.
