Geo Attendance Map Offers a Worldwide View of Audience

METALCON, the largest international event in the metal construction industry, wanted to drive more onsite traffic to its booth, keep attendees engaged while there, and create new sponsorship opportunities. To meet these goals, it worked with Convention Data Services and used Geo Attendance Map, an interactive exhibit designed to highlight a show’s global audience.

Convention Data Services placed Geo Attendance Map in METALCON’s show management booth, where it became a conversation starter and networking tool. Visitors spent an average of 10 to 15 minutes interacting with the map and staff, and METALCON was able to showcase attendee locations across the U.S. and 50+ countries, support sponsorship sales, and spark discussion about future show locations.
