The Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC) needed a way to manage complex continuing-education session tracking across more than 600 sessions in 168 locations over four days. FETC turned to Convention Data Services (CDS) for a fast, reliable onsite registration and session-tracking solution that would help the team focus on running the event.

Convention Data Services implemented its Tracker session tracking system, using a proprietary app on phones to scan attendee badges with QR codes, provide onsite equipment, training, support, reporting, and certificates, and automatically remove duplicate scans. The result was a smooth check-in process and real-time tracking across 604 sessions and 28,575 scans, helping FETC easily manage continuing education credits and deliver attendee session data through a CEU page.
