Fathom Communications, a global advertising agency, needed a highly flexible, interactive app to present branding and experience-building ideas for its clients, while supporting both iBeacon geofencing and Android/iOS native platforms. The agency turned to Contus for a customizable solution that could showcase how brands engage and retain customers through campaigns, surveys, AR, and location-based interactions.

Contus built the Compass app with features like Augmented Reality scanning, iBeacon and geofencing support, real-time dashboards, an E-Score, and a Laravel web backend for campaign control. By integrating Gimbal for microfencing/geofencing and an AR SDK for dynamic target scanning, Contus enabled Fathom Communications to better measure participation and campaign performance, helping the agency win more clients in retail consumer and automobile sectors.
