Nerolac Paints, a large industrial and decorative paint company with a distributed sales and driver workforce across 20+ cities in India, needed a monitoring app to manage daily sales meetings and deliveries. The company wanted the app to connect with its SAP-based web backend so employees could access and update schedules and visit details on the go. Contus was brought in to build the solution.
Contus developed an Android mobile app backed by a Laravel-based database on AWS to act as a bridge between the app and SAP system, enabling two-way communication in real time. The app included schedules, QR code scanning, and in/out time tracking, helping Nerolac monitor its workforce more accurately and improving real-time employee monitoring across its network.
