Parentix, a cloud solution provider for SMEs and part of the Exact Group, faced the challenge of proactively managing roughly 1,400 Windows servers (Windows 2012–2019) and several thousand VDI user sessions daily. Their legacy monitoring with Microsoft SCOM lacked the flexibility and ease of use they needed, so Parentix selected ControlUp — including the ControlUp Console, Automations Module and ControlUp Insights — to gain real-time visibility, automation and simpler role-based operations.

Using ControlUp, Parentix implemented console-based monitoring, automation (including script-based PowerShell actions) and historical Insights to anticipate and remediate issues. ControlUp helped them instantly reclaim 750 GB of unused RAM, cut disk-space incidents from about 40 to 4 per week, save more than four hours of help-desk time weekly, and move from ~10 minutes per server to 10–15 seconds to run tasks across 50+ servers; they now manage 300+ delivery groups from a single pane of glass. ControlUp also simplified onboarding, tightened admin rights, and enabled overnight automated remediation to prevent outages.
