Via Elegante secures 12 doors and 100 users with Controlsoft

Via Elegante, an assisted living and memory care community in Tucson, Arizona, needed an access control solution to ensure patient privacy and safety without the hassle of issuing physical tokens to visiting families. They partnered with vendor Controlsoft to implement a system using their Identity Access software and hardware.

Controlsoft's solution utilized iNet door controllers and Camden keypad readers, allowing facility personnel to use PIN codes for access and enabling families to visit without tokens. The system provided management with full audit trail reporting capabilities. The results were so positive that Via Elegante plans to install Controlsoft's access control in all of its future new locations.
