Inholland University of Applied Sciences deploys 500 Aperio locks with Controlsoft

Inholland University of Applied Sciences, a large higher education provider in the Netherlands, faced the challenge of securing its seven campuses. They needed a flexible and affordable access control system to protect important rooms like offices and exam storage without the high cost and disruption of installing wired locks. The vendor Controlsoft provided a solution using Aperio wireless locking devices integrated with their access control system.

Controlsoft's solution involved the installation of approximately 550 Aperio wireless escutcheons and locks. This provided a cost-effective and secure system that was deployed quickly without disruption. The battery-operated locks also resulted in lower ongoing operational costs compared to wired alternatives. The university was satisfied with the results and is planning to use the open-platform Aperio system for its future smart building projects.
