Controlsoft delivers highly cost-effective access control for Swaziland Posts & Telecommunications Corporation

Swaziland Posts & Telecommunications Corporation (SPTC), which operates postal and telecommunications services across Swaziland including six tele‑centres, needed a modern access control system to prevent unauthorised entry and to record attendance for Health & Safety compliance. Controlsoft was engaged to plan the project and recommended a fingerprint solution using Morpho J‑Series Readers linked to its ES2 software (ES2 Lite) after SGGS won the installation contract.

Controlsoft implemented standalone ES2 Lite systems at each of the six tele‑centres, with two Morpho J‑Series fingerprint scanners per entrance, PC‑based enrolment and time‑based access/attendance monitoring; free‑exit is managed via push‑to‑exit buttons. The solution delivered low‑cost, high‑security access control, made installation straightforward for SGGS, improved attendance tracking and H&S compliance, and reduced the risk of unauthorised access across all sites.
