Association of Maryland Pilots secures 18 doors with Controlsoft

The Association of Maryland Pilots, a historic organization founded in 1852, required a modern access control system for their newly renovated Baltimore office building. Their challenge was to restrict access to certain areas, ensuring only authorized pilots could enter. They partnered with Controlsoft to implement a solution using their Identity Access software and hardware.

Controlsoft implemented a system using iNet door controllers and HID iCLASS SE Mobile readers, all managed by their Identity Access software. This provided a simple yet effective solution, granting pilots access via keyfobs or a mobile credential on their smartphones and Apple Watches. This ensured secure access control and added convenience, as pilots who forgot their keys could use their phones instead.
