Aperio wireless locks secure a luxury apartment building

Aperio was engaged to secure G Square, a new 32‑apartment luxury “micro‑living” building in Cape Town, and needed an attractive, trusted and affordable access solution that would integrate with wired perimeter doors. The project specified programmable RFID credentials, low disruption during installation, and a system that matched the building’s aesthetics; the chosen hardware was Aperio H100 Wireless Handles integrated with the Controlsoft Identity Access Solution.

Controlsoft delivered an integrated access solution managing 32 Aperio H100D wireless handles and communication hubs (up to 16 devices per hub) for real‑time rights updates. By using Aperio wireless locks with the Controlsoft system, G Square avoided door wiring, reduced labour and cabling costs, lowered ongoing power costs with battery‑operated locks, and achieved smooth installation and sleek aesthetics — meeting security and usability requirements while delivering measurable cost and operational savings.
