Case Study: Mountain Media achieves Level 1 PCI compliance with ControlScan

Mountain Media, a comprehensive e-commerce provider and Level 1 PCI service provider, needed to independently validate its security posture and maintain PCI DSS compliance. After completing an internal gap assessment, the company realized it needed a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) to help confirm remediation and satisfy service-provider-level PCI requirements.

ControlScan provided QSA and security assessment services to review Mountain Media’s gap assessment, update documentation, and produce a compliant Report on Compliance (RoC). With ControlScan’s guidance, Mountain Media completed the RoC successfully on March 27, 2012, improving the process’s cost efficiency and speed while strengthening its long-term PCI compliance program.
