Urdarapotek, a privately owned pharmacy in Reykjavik, Iceland, needed a better way to monitor room and refrigerator temperatures to comply with regulations and protect temperature-sensitive medicines. Controlant helped the pharmacy prevent product loss during incidents that could have cost tens of thousands of euros, including one refrigerator event involving medicine worth about 1 million Icelandic Krona (approximately 7,500 EUR), while also giving the team peace of mind and an easier way to share quality data with distributors.
